Join a paddle of Baltimore’s harbor, hosted by Baltimore City Recreation and Parks to see the city from a different perspective and hear from Chesapeake Conservancy Executive Vice President and Baltimore City Council Member, Mark Conway, as he discusses the Baltimore Blueway and shares the status of Inner Harbor redevelopment. Prompted by recent Maryland legislation and critical conservation needs, the Naturally Better Landscaping project seeks to educate and empower HOAs to employ and advocate for environmentally-friendly landscaping techniques in support of wildlife, clean water, and healthy ecosystems. This introduction and overview of the project and subsequent speaker series is open to all HOA leaders and members. Developers, realtors, county officials, and landscapers who work with HOAs are also invited to take part.
